RD Rýmařov presented itself at the Brno Construction Fair
RD Rýmařov, a leading Czech manufacturer of wooden buildings and a member of the Progresus group, successfully presented itself at this year's Brno Building Fair. Visitors had the opportunity to see a premium sauna module and take advantage of a special fair offer for its purchase. Company representatives also actively participated in the trade fair's professional program.
In the section dedicated to wooden buildings and tiny houses, RD Rýmařov attracted attention with its modern wellness module with above‑standard features, such as luxurious large‑format tiles and underfloor heating. The public's interest was extraordinary ‑ the stand was literally under siege the whole time and approximately 1,500 catalogs of standard houses and thousands of promotional price lists were handed out to visitors. "The interest in sustainable housing is huge. Our wellness module attracted new people interested in building and satisfied clients who are interested in supplementing or expanding their completed projects," says Tomáš Červený, head of the RD Rýmařov production plant.
The trade fair program also included a lecture "10 Steps to Wooden Building", where representatives of RD Rýmařov presented the entire construction process ‑ from choosing a plot of land to the actual implementation. "After the presentation, we were approached not only by new people, but also by a former client who came to plan his next house," adds Červený with a smile.
Architect Tomáš Gebhardt also participated in the Construction Hackathon, where he mentored one of the student teams. They worked on affordable housing designs for two days. “It was inspiring to watch the creativity of the young generation. It is initiatives like these that help shape the future of the construction industry,” comments Gebhardt. The hackathon also brought concrete opportunities for cooperation. One mentor from an international construction company expressed interest in the patented TiCo suspended wooden facade system, which his team used directly in their design. “We arranged a meeting on site to potentially supply the system for dozens of their projects,” concludes the architect. Participation in the Brno Construction Fair thus once again confirmed that RD Rýmařov is a reliable, innovative and trustworthy partner in the field of modern housing.
This year’s fair attracted over 20,000 visitors and featured 321 companies from 9 countries. The main topics were current trends in the construction industry, new technologies, affordable housing and a healthy environment. We thank all visitors and look forward to the next year, which will take place on March 25–28, 2026.
