New series presents RD Rýmařov
RD Rýmařov, the Czech leader in wooden buildings, presents itself in the new series Building is not a dream: turnkey family houses. This programme guides viewers through the entire process of building modern family houses made of wood ‑ from the initial design to the experience of the owners.
RD Rýmařov has been operating on the market since 1968 and has built a reputation as a reliable partner in the field of prefabricated houses. In 2020, it became part of the Progresus Group, thus starting its transformation into a modern leader in the field of wooden buildings. It is this transformation, captured over three years, that the series on TV Architect documents.
"Our clients appreciate that wooden buildings are a fast, high-quality and environmentally friendly way to modern living. We offer them not only more than 50 years of experience and top quality, but also the latest technological processes," say RD Rýmařov's Operations Directors Kamila Příhodová and Denisa Rollerová. "Thanks to the series, we are getting even closer to our clients and we are very pleased with the positive feedback from the first viewers," they add.
The Family Turnkey Houses series shows the journey of RD Rýmařov from a traditional company to an innovative leader. In the individual episodes, viewers will learn about the company's philosophy, production technology, the assembly process and the overall construction process. They will get a glimpse into the wide range of Rýmařov's completed RD projects - from affordable houses to luxury villas. In the series, the clients themselves share their experiences and mention the main advantages of wooden buildings, including speed of construction, environmental friendliness and energy efficiency.
Míra Hejda, presenter and CEO of Living Media, the company behind the series, managed the filming process for three years: "Such a long-term project is of course demanding for the entire team, but at the same time we had enough time to observe the entire transformation of the company. If a company has been on the market for over 50 years, it has strong roots in the past, but it does not always look to the future that much. And this has fundamentally changed with the entry of the Progresus group - not only in terms of the architecture of the houses, but also the technologies and materials used, including ESG principles."
The filming took place in various conditions, including adverse weather, which can complicate the construction. However, such circumstances will only delay a professional assembly crew by hours or days, while constructions carried out by oneself can mean long delays. Peace of mind and adherence to set deadlines are therefore another reason why clients decide to build turnkey family houses from RD Rýmařov.
